Exploring the 1994 Power Fighter with Gears: A Hidden Gem from Star Brigade

Welcome to the Outpost. Today I’m taking a look at the G.I. Joe 1994 Power Fighter with Gears. Gears has always been one of my favorite characters from 94. I don’t know why exactly, he wasn’t in any cartoon that I know of, I never read a comic with him in it, and his figure while cool to me is a little bland. I guess I just really liked the Star Brigade when I got into collecting. I’ve had Gears for years but I never had his Power Fighter and I guess I never paid much attention till now.
I picked one up on the cheap minus a few parts and realized how cool this is. There is some cool detail and I love the idea of gears controlling this robot in a battle or just using it to repair a shuttle or space station. I’m happy I picked this one up and I’ll be tracking down the Cobra Power Fighter as I already have the Techno Viper for it. Who had one of these as a kid?
